Hey Everyone!

So here´s a funny story, here in PerĂº they don´t really have cars, they have motos. They are basically 3 whelled motoercycles with a cabin. Lots of people have them and we have had the opportunity to get to know a few people from the neighborhood. One of the motos, EVERY time he drives by us he shouts out in english ¨LORD JESUS¨ I have no idea how he keeps finding us but he does and it has happened for 3 days in a row now. I wonder wheere he will find us today....

IN other news, Elder MOntoya from the seventy visited us last Thursday. At the very end he asked if anyone had any questions. One Elder asked, ¨What does the Atonement of Jesus Christ mean to you?¨

There is nothing greater than a servant of the Lord giving a profound testimony of His name.

I would like to pose the same question, What does the Atonement of Jesus Christ mean to you?

As you better come to understand the Atonement, your life will change. I have learned more through reading the Book of Mormon.

I hope you all have a wonderful week! Next week I will send the pictures with Elder Montoya, the mission president´s wife hasn´t sent them yet.

Hey everyone!

This week we went to the temple. It was pretty great as one would think it would be.
I want to invite you all to a challenge. Our mission President has issued us a challange to read the Book of Mormon, but to mark certain elements. the instructions are found in preach my gospel,

Provide missionaries with a clean paperback copy of the Book of Mormon. Have them highlight in different colors:
  1. Each reference to Jesus Christ (any of His names or pronouns referring to Him).
  2. His words (spoken by Him or by prophets when they say, “Thus saith the Lord”).
  3. His attributes.
  4. The doctrines and principles contained in the Book of Mormon.
At the bottom of each page ask the missionaries to count the total number of items referenced. In interviews and during district meetings during the two- or three-month period for this activity, have missionaries share with each other what they’ve learned. You might consider doing a similar activity with the entire mission highlighting references to faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism, the gift of the Holy Ghost, or any of the fundamental principles of the gospel.
He invited us to send to our families the same challenge, so I am extending it to everyone who is reading this.
I promise that if you do this challenge, you will grow to have a greater love for the Book of Mormon.
Alos, my companion and I went on splits with a few famous people. However, of all the Avengers, we had the most powerful super power............ scripture power (keeps me safe from sin). (If anyone wants to use that joke in family home evening or in promary this week thwy are more tahn welcome to do so)

Hey Everyone!

Just a funny story. The ward I am currently serving in is called Villa 2. Recently it had a boundary change with a ward that I used to serve in. That means that on Sunday yesterday I recognized a large amount of members because I already knew them!
The ward secreatries name is Luis. I was teaching him before he got baptized. I was transferred from the ward before he was baptized. However, seeig him again was incredbile! I got so see the fruits of early labor. And I can´t believe but he even remembered me! He is now preparing to serve a mission.

Seeing gospel fruits is the greatest feeling on planet earth.

I know the Lord lives. He knows where He wants to send each missionary. He loves putting people together. He loves to be with us.

no pictures this week because I decided that send a picture of dust and dead dogs wasn´t very attractive to send. I will send some next week for sure!

Hey everyone!

Big news! Prophets are real and relevant in our time! I invite all of you to read every other missionary email because they talked about it way more in depth than I will.
Favorite talks: Elder Lynn G. Robbins and President Nelson on personal revelation.

I have been transferred! I am now in the part of Lima called Villa el Salvador! Remember at the beginning of my mission where I stepped in the dog skeleton? Yea I´m there again hahaha. Looks like there are a lot more dogs here now then there were a year and a half ago.

I have a new companion! Elder LImao from Brazil! He is incredible. I know it is going to be a fun a spiritual transfer.

I just want to shre my testimony that I am grateful the church gives us hope of eternal families. I have attached pictures of some truly incredible people. They have changed my life, each one of them. Thanks to the gospel, I know that if I am faithful, I will see each one of them again. That promise is the same for you and the people with whom you serve, whether you are a missionary or a home teacher or a visiting teacher. (whoops take out that last part).

Have a great week,
