Hey everyone!

This week we had stake conference. We went with an investigator to the stake center, and just before the meeting, she met our mission president! President McGinn asked her when she was going to get baptized and who her friends were in the ward. She replied, ´´I am getting baptized this week and my friends in the ward is everyone!´´ She actually sat by her friends during the conference while my companion and I sat towards the back, keeping an eye on other investigators. As it turns out, our mission president gave a talk. He mentioned, ´´before I came in to the conference, I saw Elder Chacon and Elder MacGregor with an investigator. She mentioned that her friends in the chapel were everyone! Good job Pamplona ward! Elder MacGregor, could you stand up please?´´ I stood up in the back and the entire stake looked at me. ´´what is the name of your investigator?´´ I had to shout ´´CECILIA´´ President made her stand up as well and the entire stake looked at her. hahahah it was one of the greatest moments I had been on in my mission.

I want to share my testimony.

I know this is a divine work.
I know God lives, He is our loving Heavenly Father and He wants us to become like Him, just as any other loving father would.
He wants to succeed, that is why He sent His Son. He didn´t send just any Son, He sent His best. He would not do that if He wanted us to fail.
I know these things are true.
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

Hello everyone!
It has been great here in Perú! and very hot!
This week I want to share a scripture lesson I learned in my study of the Book of Mormon. For me, it answers the question how we can have more faith.
1 Nephi 7:12 "Yea, and how is it that ye have forgotten that the Lord is able to do all things according to his will, for the children of men, if it so be that they exercise faith in him? Wherefore, let us be faithful to him."

If you want to have more faith, be faithful. Be faithful to what you know, and what you are learning. As you strive to be faithful, you will become full of faith.

This week we are going to have stake conference and a visit from a seventy. It´s gonna be great I will tell you all about it next week!
Here are zone pictures from Christmas!

Hello everyone!

This week hasn´t been the best to be honest! But it also hasn´t been the worst! It has been!
To start! the past week the son of the family we live with had a birthday party. Those of you who know me well know that all my parties have ever been Scooby Doo themed and Star Wars themed. This ked totally blew me out of the water with plants verses zombies. Gresatest birthday party I have ever been too.
In fact, we even met a zombie! He was a recent convert and was testifying to us that if we don´t use our agency wisely we would end up like him.

This week I have been finding a lot of peace in the New Testament. Sometimes it can be hard imaging Christ walking amoung common men, but I testified that He did so, and now He sends prophets to do so on His behalf.

As missionaries we were invited to the funeral of Thomas S Monson. I have now made it a goal that ever day I can say, ´´I feel we´ve done some good today!'' I encourage you to make that your goal as well.

I love you all so much. I thank you for your prayers and love. I testify of the restored gospel and the love of the Savior.

Good week everyone,

This week was transfers so I am writing on Tuesday. No changes I am going to stay in the Pamplona ward for another month and a half. WOOHOO

This week has been pretty normal. By tender miracles and the hand of the Lord we found 5 new investigators! They are good too! I love thinking of missionaries as searching out those looking for the truth.

I want to share a short scripture in the Book of Mormon, 1 Nephi 13:37 ´´And blessed are they who shall seek to bring forth my Zion at that day, for they shall have the gift and the power of the Holy Ghost; and if they endure unto the end they shall be lifted up at the last day, and shall be saved in the everlasting kingdom of the Lamb; and whoso shall publish peace, yea, tidings of great joy, how beautiful upon the mountains shall they be.´´

God needs you. He created you, and then He sent someone to pay for you. I promise that as we seek to establish Zion, we will be blessed.

PS I understand that there are many trials happening in Oregon. I would also like to testify that because Jesus was Resurrected, we will all be resurrected. We will see our loved ones again. The only difference is that they will be glorified, and perfect. How blessed and glorious that day will be.

Hey Everyone!

And it came to pass that thus ended the year 2017 here in Perú

HAPPY NEW YEARS!

I have attached a video to show how the fireworks are here. They are completely nuts! Videos speak louder than writing so there ya go.  Editors note: i tried to load video, but it was too long.  it's about 3 min or crazy fireworks.

This week has been very nice. I love to see people progressing in the gospel.
I just want to share a quick scripture from my studies.
D and C 82:10 ´´I, the Lord, am bound when ye do what I say; but when ye do not what I say, ye have no promise.¨¨

I promise that as you search to do the Lords´s will, He will bless you in this year.
