Hello everyone!

Please pray for President Nelson this week. He needs to call two new apostles. THAT is stress.

I  am loving the Book of Mormon. This morning I was reading in 2 Nephi 28 and 29 and I literally couldn´t put it down. It was such a powerful testimony of the restoration.
I am doing just fine and loving the work! Here is a sweet picture me and my companion took. Also we went to the temple last week as a zone. Here is the picture of the district.

Hello everyone!

This past week has been a lot of walking. Woohoo!
That´s about it. However, I do want to share a cool thought that our penionista said that I figured out how to form into english. It is about being grateful for our blessings.  If we do something nice for someone and they aren´t very grateful, we aren´t going to feel like doing it again. I feel the Lord works in the same way. Why would He bother to bless us if we aren´t grateful for the blessings He does give us? It has definetly made me more grateful this past week for my many blessings.

The mission is the greatest experience of all time. Never have I laughed so hard, been so lost or walked so much. I have seen the Lord teach me and most of the time it is not until the lesson is over that I learn it´s importance. For example I was telling my companion about one of my past companions. Then I realized while I was talking that my former companion was JUST like Grant MacGregor. I realized that the Lord had sent me someone like my brother to be my companion, and I didn´t realize it in the moment! It was funny to think about and recognize the Lord´s hand in my life. (FYI the companion who was just like Grant was one of my favorite companions so I want that on the record. To Grant´s future missionary companions, you all have really lucked out)

Here are two Elders they are both named Elder Rodriguez so you know I had to get a picture with them both.

With much love I testify that this is the work of the Lord.

So the big news. One of the converts I baptized last year got sealed last Friday! President gave me and my past companion Elder Miranda permission to go! We got to see our converts get sealed! They came up from Ica which is a 5 hour drive. They brought in the kids and sealed them to their parents for time and all eternity. After that he had the family look in the mirror and said, ¨Today an eternal family is born.¨ That moment will be locked in my mind forever. Without a doubt greater than any baptism so far. Tough to beat though, because a baptism is really awesome. I am so glad that we are sealed together as a family.

I am currently studying the Book of Mormon with 2 topics in mind. Every time I read WHO the Savior is, and every time it eplains something he DOES, I inderline it. I am currently in 2 Nephi 11.

I am coming to know who the Savior was. I am beginning to know what He did.

I hope you all have a great week!

Here are the pictures from and intercambio we had with some other Elders.

Here is a picture of the baptism from a year ago. and the Sealing in the PerĂº Lima temple this past Saturday. Do I look any different?

This week we baptized two sisters. Mom teaching them has been SO much fun. Here lots of people don´t understand the concept of the Restoration or the Priesthood, but these girls are SO smart. They understood it right away. In one of the interviews before the baptism they asked one fo the sisters if they had prayed to know if the church was true. She said she did. The interviewer than replied how she felt, or how they experience was. She responed that she hadn´t felt anything! She said (this is a quote from the Elder who interviewed her, or how he related the story to me) ¨They asked me to pray and I did. I didn´t feel anything, but the thought came that I already know it´s true. I mean, it just makes sense what theya re telling me.¨

The restoration does make sense. I too testify of that truth.

But it actually got me thinking, I personally myself don´t  recall a defining spiritual moment liek WOW THIS IS TRUE. But I just know that it is.

I feel like we receive an answer to our prayers and questions when we can say in front of others, ´´I know that Joseph Smith is and was a prophet of God.¨

And I know he was.
